Please read these Terms of Service carefully before using UrbanHARS services or website. By booking a service or accessing our website at urbanhars.com, you agree to be bound by these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.
1. Services Provided
UrbanHARS provides doorstep home appliance repair and maintenance services across Bangalore for appliances including air conditioners, refrigerators, washing machines, televisions, and water purifiers. Service availability is subject to technician availability and your service area.
2. Booking and Appointments
- Bookings can be made via our website form or by calling 08069645496.
- After booking, our team will call you within 30 minutes to confirm your appointment slot.
- We offer same-day service for bookings placed before 12:00 PM, subject to availability.
- You must ensure an adult (18+) is present at the service location during the technician's visit.
- UrbanHARS reserves the right to reschedule or cancel appointments in exceptional circumstances such as technician unavailability, extreme weather, or public emergencies.
3. Pricing and Payments
- A diagnostic / visit charge applies for the technician's visit. This fee is communicated at the time of booking.
- Repair estimates are provided by the technician after diagnosing the appliance. Work begins only after you approve the estimate in writing or verbally.
- Spare part prices may vary based on brand, model, and availability. Only genuine or compatible quality parts are used.
- Final invoice amounts are provided before payment is collected. We do not charge hidden fees.
- Accepted payment modes: Cash, UPI, Net Banking, and major debit/credit cards.
4. Service Warranty
- All repair work carried out by UrbanHARS technicians is covered by a 30-day service warranty.
- If the same issue recurs within 30 days of the repair, we will revisit and fix it at no additional labour charge.
- The warranty covers the specific fault repaired and does not extend to new or unrelated faults, physical damage, power surges, misuse, or manufacturer defects.
- Warranty claims must be raised by contacting us at 08069645496 within the 30-day window.
5. Cancellations and Rescheduling
- You may cancel or reschedule a booking at no charge by calling us at least 2 hours before the scheduled appointment.
- Cancellations made after the technician has departed for your location may incur a nominal cancellation fee to cover travel costs.
- No-shows (technician arrives but no one is present) will be treated as a cancellation and the visit charge may be applicable.
6. Customer Responsibilities
- Provide accurate appliance details and describe the issue clearly at the time of booking.
- Ensure the appliance is accessible and the service area is safe for the technician to work in.
- Inform UrbanHARS of any pre-existing damage to the appliance before the technician's visit.
- UrbanHARS is not liable for any pre-existing damage, manufacturer defects, or issues arising from improper use of the appliance by the customer.
7. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, UrbanHARS shall not be liable for:
- Any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of our services
- Loss of data stored on appliances (e.g., smart TVs, smart refrigerators)
- Damage caused by undisclosed pre-existing conditions or manufacturing defects
- Delays due to unavailability of spare parts or circumstances beyond our control
Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount paid by you for the specific service giving rise to that claim.
8. Intellectual Property
All content on urbanhars.com — including text, images, logos, and design — is the property of UrbanHARS and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or use any content without prior written permission.
9. Privacy
Your use of our services is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.
10. Governing Law
These Terms of Service shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising from these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Bangalore, Karnataka.
11. Changes to These Terms
UrbanHARS reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes take effect immediately upon posting to our website. Continued use of our services after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
